About us

Weingut Oberhofer is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Germany’s Pfalz region. The family has been growing wine since 1754, and today the siblings Pascal and Marlene proudly represent the 11th generation.

The estate has been committed to certified organic viticulture since 2008, focusing on precision, clarity, and natural expression from vineyard to bottle. The winemaking philosophy centers on taking time over haste, paying close attention to detail, and allowing nature to shape each wine’s character.

Key varieties include Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, complemented by Riesling and other aromatic white wines, such as Sauvignon blanc. The style is fresh, elegant, and focused – wines with a clear origin and a pure, modern expression of the Pfalz.

Estate Wines
Our estate wines are defined by lightness and freshness. The focus lies on pure aromas, with vibrant fruit and varietal character. From the crisp Riesling to the expressive Sauvignon Blanc and the elegant Pinot Blanc, these wines are lively, uncomplicated, and ideal for everyday enjoyment.

Village Wines
Our village wines reflect the distinctive character of our vineyards. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir take center stage here. Gently matured in oak, they combine elegance with depth and structure. The Chardonnay shows creaminess and subtle spice, while the Pinot Noir delights with fine tannins, red fruit, and a long, harmonious finish – both wines of substance and true drinking pleasure.

Single-vineyard wines
Our single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay represent the most refined expression of our craft. Sourced from carefully selected sites, these premium wines showcase precision, depth, and a strong sense of place. The Chardonnay reveals complexity, minerality, and layered structure, while the Pinot Noir is marked by elegance, finesse, and expressive fruit. These wines highlight the uniqueness of each vineyard and are made for those seeking authentic, terroir-driven character.

Vinsans – Alcohol-Free Wines
Under our own brand Vinsans, we produce de-alcoholised wines. Using a particularly gentle process, they retain the natural aromas and authentic character of our wines – pure enjoyment, without alcohol.

Spätburgunder Edesheim

This wine is aged in oak barrels and is characterized by a spicy nose with aromas of ripe cherries and plums, rounded off by a delicate hint of cloves. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with fine tannins and refreshing acidity leading to a harmonious finish.

Sauvignon blanc

A seductive bouquet unfolds with notes of exotic passion fruit, ripe gooseberries, and a hint of crisp green bell pepper – a true taste of summer in the glass. On the palate, it reveals a lively freshness and a long-lasting, vibrant finish, making it equally delightful as a solo pleasure or an excellent companion to food.

Chardonnay Edesheim

The Chardonnay Edesheim shows a delicate yellow hue with a subtle golden touch. Its intense bouquet entices with notes of tender banana blossom, ripe melon, and a gentle hint of oak from its Barrique fermentation, revealing an elegant fruitiness. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and complex, with a harmonious balance of fruit, silky creaminess, and soft, refined acidity.

VINSANS white | Dealcoholized wine

Our de-alcoholized white wine shines with crisp freshness, bright fruit, and a vibrant aromatic profile. Notes of citrus, green apple, and delicate white flowers are carried by lively acidity and a light, elegant structure.

Every step—from grape growing and winemaking to de-alcoholization and bottling—is done in-house using our gentle, unique method, ensuring exceptional quality and purity.

Refreshing and clean, it’s perfect on its own or with light appetizers—crisp, aromatic, and entirely alcohol-free.
