BERGMANDEL is a protected name for the premium white wines of our estate. The grapes are harvested from VDP classified Erste and Grosse Lagen vineyards. The name derives from the almond trees that adorn many of our finest sites and parcels.

GRAPE VARIETY Sauvignon Blanc

DESCRIPTION Bright pale yellow in the glass with golden reflections.

On the nose, a complex spectrum of aromas unfolds. Flint is followed by vegetal notes of freshly cut grass, boxwood, Greek mountain tea, lychee peel and nettle. The fruit profile reveals lime, blood orange, baby pineapple, ripe vineyard peach, elderberry and red currant.

Extroverted on the palate, with drive and tension. It presents a juicy, invigorating structure and glides smoothly across the palate with mineral freshness. Impressive length.
