About us

Weingut Kopp is a family-owned biodynamic wine estate located in Baden-Baden, at the foothills of Germany’s Black Forest.

Today, the estate cultivates 32 hectares of vineyards with a strong focus on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Riesling.

Our philosophy begins in the vineyard. Organic since 2019 and Demeter-certified biodynamic since 2022, we work to create living soils, biodiversity and naturally balanced vineyards.

In the cellar, our approach is based on minimal intervention. All wines are spontaneously fermented. We do not use enzymes or fining agents and give our wines the time they need to develop naturally.

Our aim is to produce wines defined by precision, cool-climate elegance, minerality, moderate alcohol and a clear expression of origin.

The diverse soils and microclimates of the Baden-Baden Rebland allow us to produce distinctly site-driven wines, ranging from vibrant Estate Wines to limited-production Premier Cru and Grand Cru wines.

Our wines combine the generosity of Baden with a distinctly elegant and Burgundian-inspired style.

A second major focus of the estate.

Our Chardonnays combine depth and texture with freshness, minerality and tension. Selected wines mature in French tonneaux and barriques.

PINOT BLANC
An important variety for both our estate and the Baden region.

Our Pinot Blanc wines combine subtle fruit, fine texture and freshness with excellent gastronomic versatility.

RIESLING
Our Riesling comes from selected sites around Baden-Baden, including the Feigenwäldchen monopole vineyard.

The wines are characterized by freshness, minerality, precision and a distinctive expression of their origin.
