Weingut Carlo Schmitt is a third-generation family winery from Leiwen in Germany’s Middle Mosel region. The winery focuses on terroir-driven wines from selected Mosel vineyards with old, partly ungrafted vines. Riesling is at the heart of the portfolio. Careful, natural vineyard work and gentle, low-intervention winemaking create elegant, mineral and finely fruity wines that authentically express their origin.
