The Landerer Winery is located in the heart of the Kaiserstuhl region and combines a long-standing family tradition with modern, nature-oriented viticulture. Under the direction of Johannes Landerer, terroir-driven wines with a clear sense of origin and a Burgundian style are produced on the distinctive volcanic weathered soils of the premier vineyards Eichberg, Kirchberg, and Henkenberg, as well as Achkarrer Schlossberg.
The winery is certified organically and cultivates its vineyards consistently in a sustainable manner and in harmony with nature. The focus of the portfolio is on Burgundy varieties—primarily Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc & Chardonnay —complemented by international grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Landerer is also proud be own the oldes Sauvignon Blanc vinyards in the whole Kaiserstuhl, planted in 1991.
Through consistent yield reduction, selective hand-harvesting, and gentle vinification, elegant, structured wines with mineral depth and distinct finesse are created. The winery’s signature style is characterized by precise, authentic wines that impressively reflect the unique climate and volcanic soils of the Kaiserstuhl.
