The Dr. Bürklin-Wolf winery in Wachenheim an der Weinstraße, whose tradition dates back to 1597, is one of the flagships of German wine culture.

From a treasure trove of first-class vineyards in Forst, Wachenheim, Deidesheim and Ruppertsberg, we produce Rieslings of the highest quality in harmony with nature. We have always been considered pioneers and trailblazers of revolutionary changes in German viticulture.

Bettina Bürklin-von Guradze, the eldest daughter of Dr Albert Bürklin, took over her parents' winery in 1990 and has been running it according to her own ideas ever since.

Under the entrepreneurial vision of her then-husband Christian von Guradze, the winery was one of the first in Germany to introduce the classification of vineyard sites based on the Burgundian model, thereby significantly influencing the development of top-quality German viticulture.

Continuing the tradition of her ancestors, her primary goal is to produce Rieslings of the highest quality in harmony with nature. To achieve this goal, all vineyards were converted to biodynamic cultivation in 2005. This perfectly expresses the diversity and depth of the winery's terroirs.
